Banana Bread Cookies

These delicious biscuits are easy to make and can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge. That way, you’ll always have a snack to hand – whether it’s before a run, a bike ride or a hike. If you don’t have time for breakfast in the morning before the gym, these banana bread biscuits provide a quick energy boost for your workout.

A tower of homemade banana bread biscuits

Zutaten:

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 100 g brown sugar
  • 50 g white sugar
  • 60 g butter
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • 180 g flour
  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 40 g walnuts, chopped

Peel the bananas and mash them with a fork in a large bowl. Mix the mashed bananas with the brown and white sugar. Melt the butter and add it to the mixture, then stir in. Add the baking powder, salt and flour and mix into a dough. Chop the chocolate and walnuts into small pieces and mix them into the dough as well. Cover the dough and leave to rest in the fridge for an hour.

Line a baking tray with baking paper and preheat the oven to 180 degrees (top and bottom heat). Scoop out portions of the dough with a tablespoon, shape into balls and place on the baking tray. Flatten them slightly and bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
