Ramon Zenhäusern

The down-to-earth slalom skier from Valais

Ramon was born and raised in the Moosalp region of Valais. He tried his hand at many different sports before finally deciding to pursue skiing professionally. At the age of 16, he competed in his first FIS race, and it soon became clear that he would specialise in the technical disciplines. Ramon made his World Cup debut in 2012.
In February 2018, he achieved his greatest success to date by winning the silver medal in the slalom at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang. Two days later, he led the Swiss team to the gold medal in the team event.
