For the Burgerstein founding family, supporting local teams and clubs is far more than just sponsorship – it is a genuine labour of love. As part of our long-standing partnerships in Switzerland, we have been committed for many years to regional sports structures, young talent and clubs – with a long-term, personal approach and, of course, with our Burgerstein products.

SCRJ Lakers Player
As the main sponsor, we have close ties with the club. We see the presence of our logo on the Lakers’ helmets as a visible symbol of a partnership that has grown over many years.
SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers – a partnership in action in regional ice hockey
Our collaboration with the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers is deeply rooted in the region – and tangible in everyday life. Many of our employees watch the matches at the stadium, cheer on the team and regularly meet the players in person off the ice. This genuine closeness makes the partnership special and creates a bond that goes beyond mere sponsorship.

The fact that the youth players also wear the Burgerstein logo on their helmets – just like their role models in the first team – strengthens their sense of belonging and fosters connections at every level.

TSV Jona Volleyball – from youth development to elite sport
The partnership with TSV Jona Volleyball expands our local commitment to include another sport that inspires many people in the region and brings together different levels of performance – from youth to elite sport.
For many years, the men’s NLA 1st team has relied on our products and expertise – in particular, since their promotion to the National League A over 10 years ago, we have also supported the team financially on its journey. Today, the club has a strong youth section and a solid foundation for the future.

Oliver Heer Ocean Racing – from Rapperswil out into the world
Since summer 2023, we have been supporting Oliver Heer Ocean Racing as a partner on the road to the Vendée Globe – one of the world’s most demanding single-handed sailing races. The focus of the partnership is not on the sport itself, but on what lies behind it: long-term preparation, discipline and the foundation for sustainable performance. Following their successful participation in 2024, the team is already focusing on the next edition in 2028. Building on the experience gained, the campaign is being further developed in a targeted manner. We look forward to continuing to support Oliver Heer and his team on this journey.
