Her passion for exercise began when she was just 5 years old
Her passion for exercise began at the age of five in the gymnastics hall. It was there that not only was her love of sport awakened, but the foundations were also laid for a lifelong fascination with exercise and performance. After suffering several broken bones, she eventually turned to badminton.
For five years, she had the opportunity to play for the junior national squad and gain experience in international competitions. Competitive sport had a profound influence on her during this time – both athletically and personally.
When she began her medical studies, she discovered triathlon. What started out as a new sporting challenge quickly developed into her great passion. Today, she trains for around 18–20 hours a week and combines competitive sport with her work as a junior doctor in cardiology.
She finds the link between her medical work and sport particularly fascinating: How can training be tailored to specific goals? What role do nutrition and recovery play? And how can one maintain peak performance in the long term without losing sight of one’s health? As a trainee sports physician, she explores precisely these questions – both in her professional life and in her own training.
She has already competed in the Ironman 70.3 World Championships on several occasions.
At the 2026 World Championships in Nice, she finished 12th in her age group. Now the next challenge lies ahead: the move to long-distance racing and the dream of competing in the legendary Hawaii event.
