Andreas Haas

The Power on the Ice: From Elite Athlete to World-Class Bobsleigh Pusher.

Andreas Haas is one of winter sport’s unsung heroes. As a bobsleigh pusher, he not only delivers peak physical performance on the ice, but also embodies team spirit, discipline and explosive power. With every powerful push, he lays the foundation for blistering runs down the ice track – milliseconds that can decide between victory and defeat. Who is the man behind the starting line? A look at the impressive career of an athlete who makes all the difference with his strength.

Bobsleigh on the track

In October 2020, Haas completed his first training run on the ice track. Just three months later, he won gold at the Junior World Championships in St. Moritz with Michael Vogt’s four-man bobsleigh. In a very short space of time, he has developed from a track and field sprinter into an established bobsleigh pusher at World Cup level. With Junior World Championship gold, top placings in elite competitions, European Championship bronze and an Olympic appearance, he can already look back on a successful career – and yet he is still right in the thick of it.
