Experience it for yourself now: Alessandra Keller’s bike tour in Disentis

This varied round trip starts and ends at the Catrina Resort in Disentis, and first takes you into Val Medel in the direction of Mompé Medel. Immerse yourself in the impressive mountain landscape of Surselva right from the start and follow the course of the valley along the Rein da Medel.

The subsequent ascent to Alp Plaun Pardatsch will challenge your fitness and reward you with ever-expanding views of the valley and the surrounding mountains. Once at the top, the tranquillity of the Alpine landscape awaits you, as well as a panoramic view that is worth every effort.

A particular highlight is Lake Stagias, which is ideal for a break. Nestled in untouched nature, it invites you to pause for a moment and enjoy the surroundings.

This is followed by the varied descent via Plauns back towards Disentis. Flowing sections alternate with more technical sections, making the return journey a real experience. The route offers a varied circuit that perfectly combines sporting challenges with enjoyment of nature.

What makes this so special is the fact that this route was mapped out and recommended by professional mountain biker Alessandra Keller. The Swiss top athlete who is Short Track World Champion, overall World Cup winner and multiple cross-country World Cup winner knows the region very well.

Experience the tour for yourself and discover Disentis from a whole new perspective on two wheels.

We provide the complete route on Komoot. This means that you can easily plan, save and follow the tour yourself.
